Introduction to Clearing

Clearing yourself energetically typically involves practices aimed at removing negative or stagnant energy from your mind, body, and spirit. Many different belief systems and practices offer methods for energetic clearing, so you can choose the one that resonates with you the most. Here are some general steps you can follow:

  1. Meditation: Start with a meditation practice to quiet your mind and become more aware of your energy. Deep breathing, mindfulness, or visualization techniques can help you relax and become attuned to your energetic state.

  2. Grounding: Grounding techniques connect you with the Earth's energy and help release excess energy. You can do this by walking barefoot on natural surfaces, meditating outdoors, or simply visualizing roots extending from your body into the Earth.

  3. Energy Protection: Before you clear your energy, it's a good idea to protect yourself. Imagine a protective shield or bubble around you, visualizing it as a barrier that keeps out negative or unwanted energies.

  4. Smudging: Smudging is a traditional practice where you burn herbs like sage, palo santo, or cedar and allow the smoke to cleanse your energy. You can use a feather or your hand to waft the smoke around your body while setting the intention to release negativity.

  5. Salt Baths: Soaking in a bath with Epsom salt, sea salt, or Himalayan salt can help cleanse your energy. Imagine the saltwater absorbing and washing away negative energy as you soak.

  6. Crystals: Certain crystals like black tourmaline, clear quartz, or selenite are believed to absorb or clear negative energy. You can wear them as jewelry, carry them in your pocket, or place them in your environment.

  7. Sound Healing: Sound vibrations from singing bowls, tuning forks, or even chanting can clear stagnant energy. You can use these tools to create soothing sounds around your body.

  8. Visualization: There are some amazing visualizations: research ones on light, using water.. have fun!! This part of spirituality is magic! Use your imagination to visualize a bright white or golden light surrounding and passing through your body, removing any negativity or tension.

  9. Reiki or Energy Healing: Seek the assistance of a trained energy healer or Reiki practitioner who can help balance and clear your energy field.

  10. Release and Let Go: Consciously let go of negative thoughts, emotions, and attachments that may be weighing you down. Journaling or talking to a therapist can be helpful for this process.

  11. Self-Care: Regularly engage in self-care practices like exercise, healthy eating, and getting enough rest. These can help maintain your energetic balance.

  12. Set Intentions: Consciously set intentions for the type of energy you want to cultivate within yourself. Intentions can be powerful tools for shifting your energetic state.

Remember that energetic clearing is a personal and intuitive practice, so you may need to experiment with different methods to find what works best for you. Consistency is key, so make these practices a part of your routine for maintaining balanced and positive energy.

Spiritual Maintenance: One Step Further

One of my favorite things to do is set a standing order for constant clearing and creating. You can do this my tuning in and fine-tuning your intentions anytime.

  1. Set a Standing Intention: Set an intention for maintaining a balanced and clear energy field. You might say something like, "I am open to receiving positive energy, and I release all negativity." Feel free to fine tune at any time.

  2. Stay High Vibe: Incorporate daily tuning in into your morning routine. A short meditation session (10-20 minutes) can help you center yourself, release any accumulated negativity, and set a positive tone for the day.

  3. Grounding Practice: Whenever it comes to you to do it, engage in a grounding practice. Take off your shoes, lie down in your bed.. stand barefoot on the Earth, visualize roots extending from your feet into the ground, or simply take a moment to connect with nature.

  4. Energy Shield: Visualize a protective energy shield around you before you step out into the world. Imagine this shield repelling any negative energy while allowing positive energy to flow through.

  5. Affirmations: Incorporate positive affirmations related to energy clearing into your daily routine. Repeating affirmations like "I am surrounded by positive energy" or "I release all negative energy" can reinforce your intention. Transform anything you thing into something useful.

  6. Change the Vibe Using Subtle Smells: Consider using incense or some spirtual cleansing smoke or visualization. It can be a simple as the wind, or flowers, or a type of leaf or herb.

  7. Recharge: Schedule regular salt baths or showers, massages, relaxation, with the intention of releasing negative energy. You can do this daily or weekly, depending on your needs.

  8. Crystals & Rocks: Rocks will remind you who you really are. Nature around us continuously absorb and clear negative energy. Regularly cleanse and recharge yourself using intention and Nature to keep yourself fueled and feeling on purpose.

  9. Sound Healing: Listen to soothing, clearing sounds like Tibetan singing bowls, nature sounds, dance music, or binaural beats during your downtime.

  10. Reiki or Self-Love Techniques: You can perform these on yourself as often as needed.

  11. Reinforce Boundaries: Maintain healthy boundaries in your relationships and interactions with others. Being mindful of who and what you allow into your life can prevent the accumulation of negative energy.

  12. Nightly Release & Restore: Before bedtime, let go of your day, the past, release any energy or emotions that no longer serve and get ready for sleep. Visualize yourself relaxed and rested.

Consistency and intentions goes a long way when it comes to maintaining a clear energy field. Adjust the routine to suit your preferences and needs in the moment, and trust your intuition to guide you in maintaining your energetic well-being.
