This essay addresses the question of people's health being expected to deteriorate over time. I disagree with the statement.
I disagree for several reasons. The first reason is that it is expected that children growing up with a healthy lifestyle will have better overall health in the long run. By adopting healthier habits early on, many chronic health issues that typically appear later in life can likely be prevented. We have learned that positive changes implemented later in life by a significant portion of the population have resulted in an increased life expectancy that has gone from 65 years old in the 1970's to 82 years old in 2023. We have also learned that there is now an increased number of seniors are over 100 years of age.
The second reason I disagree with the statement that people's health is expected to deteriorate over time is that public health authorities are working hard to educate people concerning the of a healthy diet, physical activities, and meaningful social life. For example: smoking has been banned, physicians are rigorous at controlling blood pressure, early detection of cancers has come so far is currently the standard of care. These have all improved treatment outcomes. Also, vaccines against pneumonia, respiratory viruses, and shingles are highly promoted, and administered.
Moreover, sensitive laboratory tests, prevention and therapeutic medication have emerged. For instance, real-time blood sugar monitoring in people with diabetes is available at a reasonable cost. Obesity is now considered a disease and is treated accordingly with powerful medication.
In summary, people's overall health and life expectancy are anticipated to continue to improve in the future. The awareness and implementation of a healthy lifestyle are here to stay. The young generations have already introduced the changes required to achieve a long, happy, and healthy life.
some teachers think that international student exchange programs would be beneficial for all teenage students. Do you think. it's advantages outweigh the disadvantages outw..
In answer to the question whether International student exchange programs would be beneficial for all teenage students, I would say yes. The main advantages are: cultural awareness, language, and personal growth. The main disadvantages are: homesickness, cost, and safety.
Cultural awareness is one of the main reasons why cultural exchange programs are so amazing. When children, and people in general, are exposed to different cultures they learn tolerance, diversity, inclusion, and new ways of living that might prove appropriate for them.
Language..
Personal growth..
First thing to consider when we look at disadvantages is homesickness, Homesickness is something that most children experience atleast once in their lifetimes. Being away from home, in a new culture, can be daunting. This is one of the disadvantages.
cost
safety.
In summary, I believe the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. While there are some disadvantages like homesickness, cost, and safety by expanding our cultural awareness, language, and personal growth we only increase our brain capacity, knowledge, and opportunities. These things can be so helpful to teenagers. If a child has the opportunity to attend an International Exchange Program they will learn the values and skills they need to be successful in life.
