Introducing your hosts Jessica Kruse & Chetana Karla Shakti

Jessica Kruse:

Jessica’s twice daily yoga and meditation classes are woven with Ayurvedic knowledge, uplifting affirmations, pranayama breathwork, mantra and meditation. She brings an energetic, creative, fun and fluid approach to all classes and workshops. Focus on breath, alignment and mindfulness inspire each class. Her specialty is getting the foundation for a balanced, healthy, pain free body with a clear, conscious and stable mind by incorporating an ayurvedic diet and lifestyle with alignment based yoga for your unique constitution. She uses everything in her extensive tool kit of Ayurveda, anatomy, yoga, meditation, clinical massage therapy and various traditional healing modalities to keep her students moving from one posture to the next while weaving in Ayurvedic wisdom, cues and corrections. For her it is beyond rewarding to see the positive changes of awareness, clarity, strength, flexibility, self love, understanding and acceptance in her students. Jessica offers levels and modifications for all guests.

"I had the privilege of attending an Ayurveda yoga retreat in Guatemala facilitated by Jessica Kruse. Jessica is a gifted teacher and extremely insightful. Additionally, I had one of the best massages I have ever had. Her passion for the practice of yoga and knowledge is contagious. I can’t wait to study with her again. She’s a true blessing to the yoga community"

More about Jessica

Chetana Karla Shakti:

Chetana uses an intuitive blend of yoga, yoga therapy, and physical therapy designed to calm the mind and strengthen the body and soul.

She uses the practices of hatha yoga, massage therapy, shamanism, and meditation to access the higher realms and lead students into practice custom designed to serve them for the rest of their lives.

One of her passions is sharing Ayurvedic tools and principles that will serve a person to develop and continue their home practice.

"Chetana's classes are inspiring. She adapts herself to each person in order to optimize one's strength to the fullest. Her advice on surfing was so precious and helpful. Regarding the massage, it was magic moment ! A heavenly place under a tree, her fingers were like those on a fairy massaging you. WE got out there full of energy. Thanks Chetana for those wonderful moments."

~New York Samsara

"My partner and I had an amazing time doing partner/acro yoga and a couples massage! They tailored our experience to fit what we wanted. Chetana was creative, spontaneous, and friendly, while staying within the boundaries of professionalism. This was much more than a "tourist" activity. Chetana knows her way around the area, interacts well with the locals, and shares meaningful stories. I really enjoyed myself." ~ Emily W
