Karla is a seasoned Ayurvedic Practitioner with over two decades of healing arts experience. After directing the Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Program for Whistler Blackcomb, she studied with Malidoma Some and Baba Hari Dass, leading to the establishment of Grateful Surf Yoga & Ayurveda in 2010. Fueled by a passion for empowering women and building a community grounded in Nature, Justice, Integrity, and Helping those less fortunate, Karla conducts workshops for Yoga Teacher Training and hosts personal retreats for both travelers and locals.

Karla's teachings center on the body's innate healing capacity through positive mental outlooks. Her diverse classes include hatha, flow, tantra, yin, intuitive readings, shamanism, chakra balancing, pranayama, meditation, vinyasa, partner yoga, and massage and physical therapy. Passionate about sharing the transformative effects of yoga and Ayurveda, Karla emphasizes holistic well-being.
